Opera Forward Festival @ Muziekgebouw

For the unique theatrical concert HARVEST, singer and theatre maker Cora Burggraaf creates fresh roles and stories for seasoned singers. She believes that a voice enriched by life experience deserves more profound roles than the traditional opera repertoire provides. Together with six composers, including Calliope Tsoupaki and Rob Zuidam, she is developing a number of monodramas that offer new roles and perspectives. 

The monodramas are performed by professional singers who all have flourishing careers behind them, life experience and artistic vigour.
