A theatrical concert about falling and being vulnerable

We all trip from time to time. When dad falls, it can be funny, sad or scary. It just depends on how he lands. Does he fall on his butt or on his head? Does he fall from high up, or does he slip on a banana peel? Is he crying or laughing? Do you help your dad up, or does he manage on his own? Two rock-solid jazz musicians show that everyone is vulnerable, and that’s perfectly okay.

The day dad fell is a theatrical concert about being yourself, about falling and the comfort of staying put. With melodic, intimate and funky sounds, written by the musicians themselves, by famous jazz artists, or improvised during the performance. Developed by young musicians Matteo Paggi and Aviv Noam as part of In de wijk van Orkaan (‘In Oorkaan’s neighborhood’): theatrical mini-concerts with young creators in unexpected places.
