Putting on/off (3+)

Every morning it’s the same: time to get dressed! It can be a fun game, but also a lot of fuss and hassle. Come on, can’t we do this faster? This is too tight! In the wordless musical performance (N)iets aan (‘Putting on/off’), a large pile of peculiar clothing items slowly comes to life. Discovering, ‘putting on’, transforming, and playing with the set becomes a musical adventure.

Three musicians play together in a coat with six sleeves or wear trousers that could fit three heads. A shiny flute appears from a sleeve, an arm from a trouser leg. But what do we do with this hat that only fits one head? (N)iets aan is a poetic and rebellious performance that is both moving and laughter inducing for children and their (grand)parents.
