Cato van Dijck + Anton Goudsmit

At JazzFest Amsterdam last year spring, indie pop diva Cato van Dijck and guitar wizard Anton Goudsmit made their debut as a duo on stage. For anyone who has seen these two performers on stage, it will come as no surprise that their collaboration was a resounding success. Tonight, they continue their musical journey together. Whether Van Dijck and Goudsmit themselves know in advance what they’re going to play is the question, but one thing is certain: it’s going to be captivating.

Cato van Dijck is the frontwoman of the Amsterdam-based band My Baby, which has been internationally successful since 2012. From disco hits like I Feel Love to intimate Joni Mitchell songs, Cato Van Dijck’s versatility shines through. The same is true of guitarist Anton Goudsmit, who infuses his adventurous jazz with touches of pop and rock, from Elvis Presley to Henry ‘The Pink Panther’ Mancini. Goudsmit was a member of the big band New Cool Collective for many years and is one of the founders of The Ploctones.

Purchase a ticket for €18.00 for a concert with drinks or a concert with dinner on the Muziekgebouw website. Please note that all drinks and food must be paid for at the terrace. 

Bad weather?
In the event of unfavourable weather conditions, the performance will be held indoors in the Entrance Hall, which overlooks the river IJ. 

Keep in mind: the sun can be intense and the wind can be quite strong near the water, so come prepared.
