Shushiki Band

The exquisite harmonies of the Shushiki Band were, until recently, a well-kept Armenian secret. In 2022, the singers performed outside of Armenia for the first time, and last year they graced Amsterdam with a performance that left everyone eager for more. With their golden voices and centuries-old folk songs they create a heart-warming summer evening.

The songs in the Shushiki Band’s repertoire have been passed down from generation to generation and some date back centuries. These songs, born from the vast Armenian plains, are about life, love and death. Through Shushiki Band’s soulful performances, the songs transcend cultural boundaries and speak to a global audience.

Purchase a ticket for €18.00 for a concert with drinks or a concert with dinner on the Muziekgebouw website. Please note that all drinks and food must be paid for at the terrace. 

Bad weather?
In the event of unfavourable weather conditions, the performance will be held indoors in the Entrance Hall, which overlooks the river IJ. 

Keep in mind: the sun can be intense and the wind can be quite strong near the water, so come prepared.
