Tegenwind (7+)

Few things are as annoying as having to fight a headwind when cycling home. Leaves blow in your face, the cold seeps through your raincoat. You feel like you’re pedalling in place, barely making any progress. Until you suddenly find yourself home after all! In the dance performance Tegenwind (‘Headwind’), the four saxophone players of Artvark and dance company de Stilte merrily blow against the wind.

Dance company de Stilte dances for and with toddlers, pre-schoolers, children, adolescents, parents and grandparents. And, of course, when you hear Artvark’s music, your body just starts moving! Back in 2016, de Stilte and Artvark sparked magic with their joyous dance performance ‘Bosch in Bed’, which left everyone yearning for more. Drawing inspiration from Artvark’s latest album Mother of Thousand, they created an inspiring performance about the power of overcoming adversity.
