Triptych in honour of an Arab legend

Umm Kulthum, also known as the Star of the East and the Voice of Egypt, shone brightly for more than half a century. She was more than a singer; she gave new impetus to Arab culture. The Amsterdam Andalusian Orchestra celebrates her life and work in this concert series with vocal soloists. Who they are will be revealed at a later stage.
