Exceptional sound of choral works in the Grote Zaal

Choral music sounds magnificent in the Grote Zaal of the Muziekgebouw. Two German ensembles, the RIAS Kammerchor with a contemporary programme, the SWR Vokalensemble with late romanticism by Richard Strauss and Mahler. French is Les Cris de Paris, Swiss Voces Suaves, British The Tallis Scholars. The phenomenal Latvian Radio Choir is invited back after just one year. Music from medieval Hildegard von Bingen to Arvo Pärt.
