Groundbreaking ensemble for new music.

Asko|Schönberg is the number one groundbreaking ensemble for new music. They have been the Muziekgebouw’s ensemble in residence for many years. Bold concerts featuring composed music from the 20th and 21st centuries in a variety of settings, from concert venues and theatres to outdoor festivals, are at the heart of their activities. The ensemble also develops research projects and educational activities. As such, Asko|Schönberg encourages and creates new work by contemporary makers, and inspires audiences in the Netherlands and beyond to discover new sounds.
