YPF European Piano Competition 2025

Young pianists are given the opportunity to shine / March 2025

The YPF European Piano Competition brings top talents from all over Europe to the Netherlands. The competition provides a stage for young pianists to shine. They will present a wide range of repertoire to an expert jury and an enthusiastic audience. In the final round in the Muziekgebouw, three finalists will take to the stage with orchestra, to compete for the first prize. Who will follow in the footsteps of previous winners such as Hanna Shybayeva, Nino Gvetadze and Thomas Beijer?

‘Thanks to the YPF competition, the level of piano playing has increased significantly in recent years.’ – piano teacher Jan Wijn
