Muziekgebouw 20 years!

In 2025, the Muziekgebouw celebrates its 20th anniversary, a landmark occasion. Join us for a special mini-festival on Saturday 20 September, for only €20! This musical taster day provides a chance for anyone curious about the Muziekgebouw to explore our building and take a look behind the scenes. Enjoy short performances in various locations, from the Grote Zaal and Kleine Zaal to the Loading Dock and backstage rehearsal studios. After a musical exploration through the building in small groups, the grand finale takes place in the Grote Zaal with performances by the top ensemble Cappella Amsterdam and members of Amsterdam Sinfonietta and Quatuor Danel. 

This mini-festival kicks off our 2025-2026 anniversary season. This season, we have selected twenty concerts that together form a wonderful cross-section of what the Muziekgebouw stands for.
