For a full Sunday, the Muziekgebouw breathes flamenco. With in the afternoon Flamenco OFF-BEAT and in the evening a concert by Estrella Morente + Rafael Riqueni.
Flamenco OFF-BEAT consists of two performance routes, designed by Spanish artist Ernesto Artillo, and lead throughout the whole building past previews of recent work by a new crop of dance makers and musicians. These artists will be seen and heard at the anniversary edition of the Flamenco Biennale in October 2025. All Flamenco OFF-BEAT itineraries are free of charge.
The showcases feature work-in-progress and short world premieres framed by a context programme of documentaries, a public rhythm and dance class and a flamenco yoga session, to start the day off right.
Sign up for OFF-BEAT route 1 or 2, and/or the yoga class through flamencobiennale.nl or the green sign-up button.
