The Orgelpark cooperates this season a few times with the serie Nieuwe Noten. Today's concert is the first one in this cooperation; the musicians are Nicolas Hodges and Guus Janssen.

Nicolas Hodges (1970) was born in London and currently lives in Germany, where he teaches at the Musikhochschule in Stuttgart. He regularly performs with leading orchestras such as the BBC Symphony, Boston Symphony, City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, Los Angeles Philharmonic, and Melbourne Symphony. Pianist and harpsichordist Guus Janssen (1951) has performed in various ensembles with musicians such as John Zorn and Gidon Kremer. Since the early 1980s, he has led his own ensembles. In 2012, Guus Janssen received the prestigious Johan Wagenaar Prize for his entire body of work.

This concert takes place at the Orgelpark as part of the Nieuwe Noten Amsterdam series.
