Danilo Pérez, John Patitucci, Brian Blade + special guest Ravi Coltrane

Saxophonist Wayne Shorter made history in Miles Davis’ band, alongside the equally influential pianist Herbie Hancock. However, Shorter’s true brilliance lay in his compositional mastery, pioneering a new era in jazz characterized by extraordinary sounds and melodies. For the last 24 years of his life, he formed a tight group with the musicians who are now once again taking the stage together, led by saxophone hero Ravi Coltrane.

To pay homage to their former bandleader, these musical giants are coming together once more to perform his music: piano virtuoso Danilo Pérez, bass phenomenon John Patitucci, and drumming powerhouse Brian Blade. With Shorter, they won many awards, including a Grammy for his last album Emanon. They now form a new quartet with Ravi Coltrane, who emerged from the shadows of his famous parents, John and Alice, to become one of the leading saxophonists of his generation.
