Explore the boundaries of musical imagination

Bnnyhunna / Grote Zaal
Benjamin Ankomah is a rising Ghanaian artist who grew up in Amsterdam, where he found his need for artistic expression at an early age and learned to play a range of instruments in church. Producing for and touring with various artists in the past years, in 2021 he finally unveiled his debut project SINTHA. Heavily influenced by the warmer shades of hip-hop, R&B, jazz and soul, Bnnyhunna throws them into his own experimental blender and further lays out his multidisciplinary vision through photography, film and poetry.

Midori Takada / Grote Zaal
The empress of minimal music, Midori Takada’s 1981 album Through the Looking Glass, is revered as a classic of the genre. At 72 years old and still regularly releasing music, her four-decades-long practice weaves together solo, group, and theatrical pieces. Exercising a command of technique and rhythm enabling her to go beyond the musical, her performances cinematically invoke entire ecosystems – knotted tree roots, networks of mycelium, or the inner workings of the human psyche.
