CELLOFEST

They barely require introduction at all. The Cello Biënnale got the jazz/rock duo BartolomeyBittmann to Amsterdam for the first time in 2015, after which the ball started rolling. The energy, perfection and virtuosity of cellist Matthias Bartolomey and violinist and mandola player Klemens Bittmann – and  particular, their original catchy compositions – won them the hearts of the audience straightaway. Since then, they have played at countless festivals, radio and TV, and never missed a Biënnale. Of course they won’t miss this one!
