The beauty of Native American culture

The Nederlands Blazers Ensemble (NBE) delves into the essence of American music. Joined by Native American singer Charly Lowry, musical phenomenon and descendant of the Tuscarora Indian Nation, the NBE explore the beauty of Native American culture. 'We are the land' encapsulates the core of this culture, where people are deeply connected with nature.

Philip Glass' iconic film score for Koyaanisqatsi, arranged for the NBE, weaves through the program. Glass, too, sought to uncover our roots, and the film highlights the ntricate relationship between humans, nature and technology. Like a meandering river, the two musical landscapes merge, enhanced by live projections by young visual artist Vincent Rang.
