Sunday Sounds is a musical picnic in the Entrance Hall for everyone who likes to be surprised by unique music and performances. Bring your own picnic basket, we provide the picnic blankets, cushions and music.
Sunday Sounds is a great way to get to know the Muziekgebouw and each other in an informal setting. Three times a year on Sunday afternoons, we, together with theatre maker Milena Haverkamp (Veenfabriek), organise a musical picnic in the Entrance Hall. During these Sounds afternoons, we always pay special attention to the work of a new generation of makers. The programme consists of short performances that have something to offer for everyone. It’s also great fun for families. Join us and enjoy the music, performances and, of course, your own picnic basket.
