Two young winners of the Coosje Wijzenbeek Prize

The National Musical Instruments Fund presents two young talented violinists. Adinda van Delft and Lucas Cui, both 16 years old, received the 2024 Coosje Wijzenbeek Prize.

In 2021, renowned violin pedagogue Coosje Wijzenbeek died at the age of 72. She led the esteemed string ensemble the Fancy Fiddlers, consisting of young string talents. As a tribute to her, the eight semi-finalists of the Davina van Wely Prize competition will receive the Coosje Wijzenbeek Prize, rewarded with a workshop day and a performance in a National Musical Instruments Fund concert.

We are organizing this concert in partnership with the Dutch Musical Instruments Foundation (NMF).
